After your 14-day Pro trial, you can choose to subscribe or your account will automatically downgrade to the Free tier. You won't lose access to your devices — you'll just return to Free tier features (1080p, 1 device pair). No data is lost, and you can upgrade again anytime.
Yes! Unlike some competitors, we don't have "commercial use detection" or aggressive nagging. Remio Free can be used for personal or professional purposes. However, for team collaboration, centralized management, and priority support, we recommend the Teams plan.
Remio is built from scratch with a modern architecture — 100% native apps (no Electron), ultra-efficient binary protocol, and P2P-first connections. Compared to Parsec: Remio Pro ($8.99) is cheaper than Parsec Warp ($9.99) and includes AI-powered features that Parsec doesn't offer. Compared to AnyDesk: Remio has never had a security breach, uses P2P by default (not centralized servers), and doesn't nag free users about commercial use.
Remio Pro will include AI adaptive quality (automatically adjusts streaming settings based on your network — predicts issues before they happen), AI audio noise reduction (filters out fan noise, keyboard clicks, and background sounds), and smart workload detection (optimizes for gaming, creative work, or productivity automatically). These features are currently in development and will be rolling out to Pro subscribers soon.

Yes, you can cancel anytime. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and you'll retain access until the end of your billing period. Annual plans can be cancelled and you'll retain access for the remainder of your annual term. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
