Cloud gaming

Leave the tower under the desk. Stream PC games to any screen.

A wired LAN puts Remio at about 8 ms of processing latency on an M2 Pro client — your input lands before the next frame draws. Every title runs buttery smooth at 4K 60 FPS HDR. No account, no vendor lock, no per-seat license.

On the couch

Your rig runs the game. Your phone plays it.

Remio streams the whole Windows desktop — Steam Big Picture, the launcher, the game — to the screen in your hands. The GPU heat stays in the other room; the controller in your lap feels wired to the PC.

One six-digit pair. Every store, every launcher.

Six popular titles, buttery at 4K 60 FPS

Every title rides the same hardware encoder — no per-game tuning, no allowlist.

Host: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Windows 11, wired 2.5 GbE. Client: iPad Pro M4 on Wi-Fi 6E or M2 Pro MacBook on wired LAN.

Figures assume a wired 2.5 GbE link to the host and a clean Wi-Fi 6E channel for the iPad client — measured internally. Across the public internet, latency tracks your route — Remio steps down to standard color and adjusts bitrate without dropping the session.

Controllers, color, and the network path — the parts that make a stream feel local or feel remote.

DualSense, Xbox Wireless, and MFi controllers map straight through

Bluetooth pair a PS5 DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, or an 8BitDo Pro 2. Play with your controller — buttons map straight to your games on the host, no emulation layer to fight.

HDR10 metadata over hardware H.265

Hardware H.265, with H.264 fallback, carries HDR10 metadata over a direct device-to-device link straight to Liquid Retina XDR on iPad Pro, OLED iPads, and supported Android panels. True 4:4:4 color for razor-sharp HUD text is now live — NVIDIA-powered PCs streaming to Mac, more pairs on the way.

Encoder reacts to lag and packet loss in real time

The host encoder reads round-trip time and packet loss from the client every frame. Walk from the office to the kitchen and the stream drops a notch in bitrate for two seconds and recovers — it does not stutter.

NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Apple Silicon — pick whichever is in the box

The host uses the hardware video encoder on NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or Apple Silicon. There is no vendor allow-list. A Mac Studio streams through Apple's encoder; a Ryzen plus Radeon PC through AMD's. You do not buy a different GPU to use Remio.

Every store, every launcher, without configuration

Remio streams the whole desktop session — there is no per-game allowlist and no separate streaming service to register.

Steam, Big Picture, Steam Input

Big Picture launches as it does locally. Steam Input rebinds your DualSense to whatever layout the title expects. Cloud saves sync. Workshop installs work the same way.

Epic, GOG Galaxy, Battle.net

Free weekly Epic launches stream the same as paid titles. GOG Galaxy and Battle.net both deliver their full library, including Diablo IV and Call of Duty, without a separate streaming permission.

Xbox PC App and Game Pass

Game Pass titles installed locally on the host stream through Remio. Forza Horizon 5, Starfield, and Halo Infinite render at the host GPU's native quality, then encode for the client over the existing session.

Riot Client and anti-cheat

Valorant and League of Legends run through Vanguard and the Riot anti-cheat exactly as they do locally. Remio is not a virtualization layer, so kernel-level anti-cheat sees a normal session.

Questions

The things gamers ask first

Will my games run at 144 Hz over Remio?
Not at 144 Hz — Remio's ceiling is a buttery 4K 60 FPS across the board, whether you're in competitive shooters like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant or AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur's Gate 3. On a wired LAN, that arrives with about 8 ms of processing latency, measured internally — your input lands before the next frame draws.
Does Remio support PS5 DualSense and Xbox controllers?
Yes. Bluetooth pair a PS5 DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, or any MFi controller to the client device. Play with your controller — buttons map straight to your games on the host. No emulation layer, no remapping required.
Can I play in 4K HDR with full color accuracy?
Remio streams standard color over hardware H.265 (H.264 fallback), crisp on Liquid Retina XDR, OLED iPads, and modern Android panels. True 4:4:4 color for razor-sharp HUD text and menu glyphs is now live — NVIDIA-powered PCs streaming to Mac, more pairs on the way.
Which GPU brands does Remio support on the host?
Remio uses hardware encoders on NVIDIA NVENC, AMD AMF, Intel QuickSync, and Apple Silicon VideoToolbox. There is no vendor lock-in. Moonlight requires NVIDIA, Parsec requires NVIDIA or AMD, and Steam Link runs through Steam. Remio runs on whatever GPU is already in the machine.
Do my games launch from Steam, Epic, and GOG without configuration?
Yes. Remio streams the whole desktop session, so Steam Big Picture, the Epic Games launcher, GOG Galaxy, Battle.net, Riot Client, and Xbox PC App all behave exactly as they do at the host. There is no per-game allowlist and no separate streaming service to register.
